Rules

Everything you need to know before stepping onto the mats. Match details, submissions, prizes, weigh-ins.

Match Details

Adult tournaments: one 8-minute round. If no winner, refs decision.

Youth tournaments: 6-minutes with refs decision.

Superfights: 6-minute sub only ruled a draw if no submission.

Title matches: 10-minutes with refs decision.

Submission Rules

All submissions allowed for adult matches.

Teens: only submission below waist is straight ankle. All upper body subs OK. No big slams.

Kids: no submissions below the waist. All upper body subs OK. No slams.

Ref can stop matches early if he thinks a competitor is about to get hurt. Safety first.

Slams

Adults: big takedowns allowed, but do not slam on the head, neck, or spike. Doing so will be a DQ. No WWE type slams (choke slam, pile driver, etc).

Kids & teens: no slamming.

Stalling / DQ

If you're not engaging and just stalling for the refs decision, the ref can wave off the match after one verbal warning and go straight to refs decision.

Talking trash to the ref or competitor DQ after one verbal warning.

Not following CSC rules — DQ at any time.

Weigh-Ins

Take place both the day prior and same day as the event. You do not have to weigh-in with your gi on. You only need to weigh-in once.

You must be officially weighed in by our staff. There is 1 lb allowed for clothing. Day before weigh-ins get weigh-in pictures.

Miss weight = disqualified and removed from the bracket.

Prizes

Brackets with less than 4 people are for custom medals. 4+ people championship belt.

Cash brackets win cash prizes plus medals. Bigger bracket = bigger payout.

Superfights: sub or draw gets a medal.

No Refunds

We do not offer refunds. You will receive a CSC credit usable toward any future event for the same price value.
